Tiny. Blonde. One.

Hey, I'm Zoe! I'm a sophomore at PCA. I like boys, music, dancing, my guitar, cupcakes, Starbuck's Caramel Mocha Frappuccino's, Sour Skittles (painfully delicious!), Pepsi, horror films, scifi, jumping in puddles, climbing trees, petty gossip, Hello Kitty, unicorns, rainbows and a lot of other stuff. School, math, english, clowns, spiders and those creepy dolls that look like people & cabbage patch kids = dislike. Call me short stack, little bit, shorty, pint sized, etc, etc and I will punch your face off. Want to know more? Get to know me, I promise I don't bite... unless you're into that sortof thing. ;)

Texts | Zoe & Rory
  • Rory: God this sucks. I'm sure they are. I just sent flowers to her room.
  • Rory: I guess there's never been anyone special enough to catch my eye until you.
  • Zoe: You did? You're seriously the sweetest.
  • Zoe: You can't see me right now, but I just might be blushing a little bit.
  • Rory: My uncle David said he would too.
  • Rory: Really? Maybe after all this clears up you'll want to go out to eat or something?
  • Zoe: Really? Tiff will love that when she wakes up.
  • Zoe: I'd really like that, Rory.

  • Zoe: It's really scary, and I don't want to leave him. He's a mess.
  • Zoe: Uh, yeeeeah, I thought that was kind of obvious? She did? I didn't know that..
  • Rory: Are her parents there?how are they?
  • Rory: I uh...I'm new to the whole liking girls thing....
  • Zoe: Yeah, they're here. They're really quiet, I think everyone is feeling really helpless. There's really nothing to do but sit and wait. This sucks. :(
  • Zoe: Late bloomer, eh? Kidding.. kind of..

Texts | Zoe & Rory
  • Zoe: Yeah, I don't want to think like that either. Babies aren't due til like May, I think Carter would really lose it if she doesn't wake up.
  • Zoe: Well it did make me smile. But why would you think I'd say no? I like you, duh.
  • Rory: yeah it's just scary. I can't imagine how he's feeling. The poor guy.
  • Rory: You like me? I like you...I was afraid carter was gonna kill me lol but Tiffany said it would be okay

Texts | Zoe & Rory
  • Rory: Oh that's not good. I'm glad the babies are okay but...what happens if she doesn't wake up and it's time to have the babies? I shouldn't think like that.
  • Rory: no. Not bad. We all deserve to smile even when something bad happens.
  • Rory: You want to? Really? I thought you would say no.
  • Zoe: Yeah, I don't want to think like that either. Babies aren't due til like May, I think Carter would really lose it if she doesn't wake up.
  • Zoe: Well it did make me smile. But why would you think I'd say no? I like you, duh.

Texts | Zoe & Rory
  • Rory: Do you know anything else? Why hasn't she woken up? Sorry I went into panic mode.
  • Rory: I am glad you are texting me. I...um how to distract you....be my valentine?
  • Rory: That sounds horrible right now with all this happening. I don't even know if you will think its positive.
  • Zoe: She has a head injury, she has a severe enough concussion that she slipped into a coma. The babies are okay, thank God. But Carter is a wreck. The doctor said the longer she goes without waking up, the more we need to worry about possible brain damage.
  • Zoe: That.. would be very distracting.. of the good variety. Is it bad that made me smile a little?
  • Zoe: It's okay, sure timing could be better, but I did ask for distraction and I'd actually really like that.

Texts | Zoe & Rory
  • Zoe: Hey, so.. Carter and Tiff were in a car wreck last night. Carter's fine, but Tiff hasn't woken up yet. I've been here at the hospital all night.
  • Zoe: I'm not sure why I'm texting you this, but you're one of the few friends I've made here and I really need a positive distraction.. distract me?

Help! || Carter/Hunter/Zoe

hunter-wilks:

Hunter stayed by Carter’s side as he turned to look at Tiffany. His stomach did a funny little flip and he stared at her, looking at the tubes and monitors. “People come out of these things all the time. They… they recover and babies are strong. Okay?” He rubbed Carter’s back, unable to pull his gaze from the girl on the bed. “They are resilient and can come through this.” He had no clue why Carter came out relatively unscathed. He just knew that he needed to be here for both of them. “So… so an eighteen-wheeler…” Hunter trailed off. He didn’t want to talk about it right now. Carter needed to look forward instead of thinking about the accident. “Uhm, okay,” he swallowed hard and finally looked away. “So what do you need? Anything. I’m your guy.”

After standing in line for what felt like forever, Zoe was finally allowed back and directed to the ICU and after a good twenty minutes — she finally found Tiffany’s room and stopped just short of going inside, taking a few more seconds to take deep breaths and make sure she had herself pulled together before setting foot inside. She needed to be strong for her brother, he needed her, really needed her for the first time since they’d found each other and she wasn’t about to let him down. One last deep breath and Zoe entered the room quietly, letting out the tiniest of audible gasps when she saw all the monitors and tubes hooked up to her brother’s wife. It was a surreal moment, seeing the girl she’d been so intimidated by for the last five months laying there looking so broken. She forced her gaze away from the painful sight, her eyes meeting Carter’s, which turned out to be just as painful with the fear and pain reflected back at her. Her feet moved forward without another moments hesitation and she wrapped her arms around Carter as he sat there, hugging him tightly. “It’s going to be okay, Carter. It’s got to be.”

Don’t Panic | Zoe & Sarah

thesarahbriggs:

Sarah’s heart stopped when she heard Zoe’s description of the accident. It was much more serious than she’d first thought. Tiffany, Carter, and their offspring would be lucky to be alive. Not wanting to alarm Zoe, Sarah smiled reassuringly at her. “I’m sure they’ll be okay,” her voice was soft and hopefully helped soothed some of her friend’s fears. She didn’t know Carter or Tiffany very well but they seemed like nice people and she hated the thought of anything bad happening to them. Even though she wasn’t a religious person, Sarah sent a quick prayer to the powers that be to help the young couple pull through. They both had so much more ahead of them and it would be an unspeakable tragedy for them to lose it all at such a young age. While sitting at a stoplight she took in her roommate’s appearance. The bright, bubbly, sweet girl she knew had transformed into a shaken bundle of nerves. “There’s tissues in the glove compartment if you need any,” she gestured to the area quickly before placing her hands firmly back on the wheel. It wouldn’t do to have them get in an accident on the way to check on survivors of another accident. A few minutes later they were finally at the hospital. Sarah pulled into the E.R. parking lot and put the car in the park. “I think this is probably a family only kind of thing. I hope everything goes well for Carter, Tiffany, and the little ones. Call me when you need me to pick you up,” she smiled shakily and waited on Zoe to agree.

Zoe was definitely anything but bubbly, tears spilling over though she fought against letting herself fully cry. She hated crying, she never let things affect her so intensely, but the thought of her brother losing the first person that had made him feel home and complete was too heartbreaking. She pressed her forehead against her knees and wiped the tears away on rough denim of her jeans, she too sending up a silent prayer, if ever all that time spent in church praising the Lord could be cashed in for a miracle, Zoe was hoping for that right then. Tiffany had to be okay, she and those two precious babies growing inside her needed to make it, they just had to. The tiny blonde heard her friend’s voice and she turned her head to look over at Sarah, giving her a little nod of appreciation. “Thanks… I hate crying.” she sighed, reaching into the glove box, pulling out a few, stuffing them in her pockets. She breathed out shakily as they pulled into the hospital lot, suddenly feeling extremely anxious and just plain antsy. As soon as the car came to a stop, she unbuckled the seat belt and opened the door, glancing back at her roommate, giving her a little nod. “Thank you, Sarah.. for everything and I’ll probably sleep here tonight, don’t want to leave my brother until we know Tiff’s gonna be okay. Thanks again.. I’ll keep you posted on how things are going. Drive safe..” And with that, she closed the door and made a mad dash into the Hospital’s ER.

Don’t Panic | Zoe & Sarah

thesarahbriggs:

Sarah had been propped up on her bed reading a book when Zoe came barging in. The smile that had made it to her face while she heard her roommate running in dropped as she took in Zoe’s appearance. Something was terribly wrong. She nodded as she listened to Zoe’s fragmented account of what had happened while she grabbed a jacket and put on a pair of shoes. “Let’s go,” she grabbed her keys and began walking out the door. Waiting until after Zoe had followed her, she shut the door behind them and stopped to hug her roommate. “It’ll be okay,” she whispered as she squeezed the girl one last time before making her way out to the parking lot. She walked purposefully to her car, unlocking it quickly and hopping inside. After buckling her own seatbelt, she checked to make sure that Zoe’s was secured as well before driving out of the parking lot. “What happened?”

Zoe was trying to stay calm, she didn’t know why she suddenly felt so much panic, it wasn’t like she and Tiffany were extremely close yet, but she they had just taken the baby steps to becoming friends and most importantly, sisters. Aside from that, she knew that Tiffany and their babies were her brother’s whole world and it killed her to think of him losing his family just as they were just getting started in life. She grabbed her bag and jacket and followed Sarah quickly out of the room, grateful for the hug, and squeezed her roommate tight, trying hard not to cry. “I hope so… he can’t lose her.. he can’t lose them.” she said shakily, quickly getting into the car and buckled up, pulling her feet up on the seat, hugging her knees to her chest. “Eighteen wheeler hit their truck.. that’s all he said…”
